Record Types are the foundation of your content structure in Brightsy. Define custom schemas with various field types (text, rich text, images, dates, relationships, etc.) to model any content type your business needs—products, articles, events, customers, or any structured data.

AI Assistants are configurable agents that help you manage content. Each assistant can be customized with specific instructions, access to your record types, and specialized tools. They can generate content, answer questions about your data, perform bulk operations, and automate repetitive tasks.

Yes. Use Brightsy as a headless CMS through the REST API and JavaScript SDK (CMA for drafts, CDA for published content, CPA for preview). Agents can also connect outbound to other products via OpenAPI. MCP (Claude, Cursor) and the CLI cover editor and CI/CD workflows.

Files uploaded to the Media Library are stored permanently. Files uploaded during chat conversations are retained for 30 days.
